In Drew’s Dimension, NASA’s Wreckage Graveyard,

Drew, Amalia, and a representative of NASA’s Board walks past some of the decommissioned ships. Holding a tablet, Drew looks at all of the data on their previous attempts at making a better spaceship.

“Wow… to say the limited knowledge they had; your scientists weren’t too far off. In fact, the only thing you needed was a more powerful power source and a way of supplying air constantly.” Amalia said, glancing at the data over Drew’s shoulder.

“Well, lucky for them, we’re here. We’ll build an entire fleet of spaceships and propel the world into the future.” Drew said.

Meanwhile, In New York City, The Station,

Avery, wearing a white tank top and shorts, is sitting on a couch, watching television. Suddenly, she groans out of boredom.

“Wow, you must be really bored,” Megra said, leaning on the couch.

“Of Course, I am.  I literally have nothing to do.”

“You could go spend some time with our children.”

“Jor told me that the little ones were taking a nap. And Emi, Celica, Avi, Alexia, and Skye are in school. And Dante took Silver to see Flara, Delta, and Aavye.”

“Ah… yours and Dante’s love children.”

“They’re not our love children. They’re artificial girls who were mistreated by their creators and used as weapons."

“Right, the girls that took over their United States and drove its citizens to hiding. I should’ve been there.” Megra interrupts, giving a heavy expression.

“Reo thought it would’ve brought up some past memories for you,” Avery said.

“Oh, okay. That was thoughtful of him. Remind me to thank him later.” Megra said, flopping on the couch and laying her head on Avery’s lap. “So how about we visit your dimension’s Neptunia? I heard it's nice this time of year.”

“I think we should go to your dimension’s Oceanica. It has better weather than Neptunia. Besides we have that private beach there.”  Avery said.

“Okay, when are we leaving? Get dressed.” Megra said.

Avery smiled. “Hey, let’s invite the others.”

Back at NASA, the Rocket Engineering Lab,

Flying in through the large garage doors, Drew’s drones carried some of the decommissioned spaceships from the graveyard. Behind the drones, Amalia and Drew levitate in the lab, causing everyone to stare at them.

“Alright, I know they’re teens. But we need to get back to work.” The NASA Board representative said.

“Sir, are they…

“The representatives of the company that bought NASA. Yes, they are. And don’t worry about your jobs… they’re safe and secured. As far as they’re concerned, they’re only interested in their personal agendas.”

“Well, that’s all true. However, some of you will be reassigned to help us with our projects if we’ll ever need it.  Oh, and if this isn’t already given, you’ll be working on your personal projects from now on. Don’t worry about creating something from what was commissioned from a contract. NASA is now a Research and Development company that focuses on all fields of study.” Drew explained. Everyone looked at her bewildered.

“Give it a few weeks. They’ll get used to it.” Amalia said.

Months later, NASA’s board of directors’ conference room,

“WHAT!” Someone yelled.

“What do you mean we can’t sell off your armor designs?  They’re property of NASA. How else do you expect us to make any capital?”

“First, my armor designs are my sole ownership. None of you have any say so in that. Secondly, we shouldn’t need to worry about making capital because Lucrada Inc. is funding us. Giving more than enough to do everything we need to. Thirdly, we make capital off the inventions our scientists create and manufacture like our upcoming line of flying cars.” Drew answered

“Flying cars? That’s a pipe dream. There’s no way you made one of those.”

“Believe what you want. But I assure you, it isn’t a pipe dream.”

“Fine, and what about this Meta epidemic? What are we going to do about it?”

“It’s not an epidemic. Those people were born like that and should be left alone. Which is why we’re not doing anything about it.”

“Are you mad? The greatest minds in the world are here and you want not to solve the greatest threat to humanity.”

“Threat? Since when were a displaced people, a threat to humanity? They’re humans just like you and me. They just have a little extra to their DNA that gifts them with abilities that defies logic and physics.” Drew said.

“Which is why we need to…

“We don’t need to do anything! And, this is the last time I will tell any of you!” Drew yelled, slamming her hand on the table.

“Who do you think you’re talking to?! We have just as much a say-so here as you. Heck, if anything, we have more due to the fact that you’re only a child.” A woman said.

“Child? I’m 17 years old… and one of the … if not the smartest person alive on this planet. Oh, did I forget to mention, I brought NASA’s so-called Space Program into a new age of technology. Without, you all would be looking for new jobs and NASA’s greatest minds would be praying for another place like this.” Drew spoke as she stood up from her chair. “But, if you want to judge me and my qualifications despite the things I've done for this company, I suggest you find both a new genius and a new investor. I’m done.” She said walking out the boardroom.

As the board sits in silence, only one thing is crossing their mind. Did she just withdraw herself and the investment from Lucrada Inc?

“Well, I wasn’t expecting that.” The woman said, trying to break the tense mood in the room.

“Mrs. Addison… It’s not the right time.”

“No, it’s the perfect time. We achieved something we never knew it was possible.” Another man responded, happily.

“What are you… Please don’t tell me you all have been planning this from the beginning.”

“Okay, we won’t tell you. But now that she’s gone, we can do what we always wanted. And without the arrogant little girl breathing down our backs.”

“Mason, Please… don’t tell me you did all of this… just to get your ridicu….

“IT’S NOT… It’s not about the Space Colony Revitalization Project I brought to this board. It’s about the fact that she’s too young to be running this place. The fact we have the greatest minds of the world working here and a child is…

An explosion goes off, causing the windows to shatter.
